The ‘piece de resistance’ of our candle range is this large 500ml glass with triple cotton wick. Our large Black Gold large scented candle is packaged in a dramatically embellished box with hand drawn illustrations and extravagant amounts of gold foil.
Our candles are hand poured in South Africa, using a soy wax blend and finest perfume oils imported from the Grasse region of France. The elegant Cape Island glass cup can be rinsed and recycled once the candle is done.
Honouring Africa’s natural wealth through the medium of fragrance, Black Gold imbues the royalty of Africa. Our inspiration was drawn from the ancient Kingdom of Mapungubwe where the famed golden rhino was discovered in 1932. The Black Gold fragrance pays homage to the endangered wildlife of Africa and a rhino adorns the packaging as a symbol of this meaningful tribute.
