CARE Once your board is clean and dry you will want to keep it pristine by rubbing it with mineral oil or coconut oil. Do not use cooking oils or fatty oils (such as olive oil) because the oil can become rancid and make your board smell. Protecting your board with oil will prevent water getting in the grain of the wood, which will stop bacteria from growing. Depending on how often you use your board, you will need to do this once or twice a month. If your board starts to look dull, changes are it could use a little rub down with light sand paper.
