For many years I’ve believed that one needs to travel to distant places to capture worthy photos, images that truly stun you. Well, perhaps for travel-photography that is half-true, but stepping outside of the restriction of genre allows us to find beauty in many other places — such as our neighborhood.

How does such beauty still exist in death? Could that which has passed still bring love into our lives? Does an abrupt ending await us on the other side, or further expansion still?
