Giant of the South - Art Piece

When standing in front of this mountain range, you feel like as if you are in the presence of ancient giants.  The use of the word ‘giant’ is also a play on the alleged history of the region of South America called Patagonia.

Legend has it that the land was home to giants and that the word ‘Patagonia’ translates to ‘Land of the Big Feet’ - though the etymology isn’t all too straightforward.

Still, you can imagine our big ancestors roaming around these great & expansive lands. This giant, Mount Fitz Roy, certainly is real, though its unbelievable form and strength of presence make it feel as legendary as our mythical foregoers.
