Wishbone Bar Stool

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Designed in 1949 by Denmark’s foremost furniture designer Hans Wegner, the original Wishbone Chair was inspired by classical portraits of Danish merchants sitting on Chinese Ming chairs and is considered one of the most distinguished designs from his prolific portfolio of more than 500 pieces.

It combines top rails and arms into a single piece with a characteristic Y-shaped back which provides comfortable support while giving stability to the steam-bent top. A natural cord base provides additional comfort and style whilst the tapered legs are an additional stylish feature of the stool.
